Settings & Controls
Press the “Settings” button on your remote control to begin personalizing your Digital Cable service.
No two homes are the same. So we’re making it possible to personalize your viewing experience. And we’re doing it in several ways you may not expect.
Customize your picture size. Choose the right audio output for your sound system. Set timers for sleep, picture off, and day-to-day reminders. All within minutes.
Two very handy features are our Parental Controls and Favorite Channels. They offer you easy ways to control what you and your family watch. Want to block shows with adult language? No problem. Only interested in sports? Shows you want to watch will be waiting when you turn on your set.

Parental Controls Menu
- Press the "Settings" button on your remote to access the Settings
Menu.
- Arrow left/right and highlight Parental Control
- Arrow up/down to the type of block you want to set and press “Select”
- A specific list of options will appear, highlight and “Select” the option you wish to block
- The program to be blocked displays in the list with the “locked” icon
- Note: Parental Control Master On/Off setting must be “ON” for blocking to take effect

Favorite Channels Menu
- To set up a Favorite Channel, press the "Settings" button on your remote. Then arrow left/right to the Settings/Favorite Channels category
- Choose Set up Favorites then press “Select”
- Arrow up/down to choose the desired channel then press “Select”
- A star icon appears to the left of each favorite channel

Settings & Control Buttons on Your Remote
The image to the left shows you where to locate the primary buttons on your remote that are used in many steps to set up and customize the Navigator. While your remote control model may vary in appearance, the buttons illustrated will have the same name and function across all versions.
